I am a student of Mrs. Neighmeyer and she posted a facebook status with a link to your blog on it. I took a look and quickly discovered you are a Christian! Hallelujah-An inspirational sister in Christ.
I think your writing is lovely. When I read it, it rolls off the tongue and its rhythm is lovely. I like your sporadic jokes plugged into your writings as well.
Anyhow, I want to comment on one specific thing that I read that I found extremely helpful. “You make your plans but God has the last word”.

I love that.
It releases so much stress especially with colleges right around the bend. I put in my two cents, but God presents me the dollar. I tell him I would really love to go to one of these four colleges and ultimately, He will be the one who closes the doors to three of them and opens the door to the one He wants for me; Or, he slightly cracks open the doors to three of them and swings open, full thrust, the door that He wishes for me. It’s only obvious which one will be chosen. 🙂

Since reading your first story of My Regular Self…. I want to read everything you’ve put out there. And big big thanks for sharing your thoughts and feelings for others to connect with and not feel so isolated.
